The Boy Who Wouldn’t Have His Nails Cut

The Boy ran again, when seeing his mother with scissors.

She came upon him, ignoring his shivers.

Grabbing his foot, to look at the fissures,

Caused by his nails turning and digging.

“I must cut your nails, without delay.”

His mother cried, determined to have her way.

But again, he quickly sped away.

To see his granny, he quickly fled.

His granny assured him, as she held his shirt,

“It won’t hurt, I promise you no blood will spurt.”

His granny had some magic scissors,

And trimmed the nails to perfection.

“Thank you Granny.” He said with glee,

“You have no idea, how happy, you’ve made me.”
