The Boy Who Wouldn’t Stop Playing Football

Be it dark or in the light

He practised with all his might.

He kicked his ball, back and forth to school.

In the house and the swimming pool.

Nothing was safe from his football craze,

His granny thought it just a phase,

Little did she know, his skills had been found out!

‘I’m playing for England.’ He shouted out.

His mother overjoyed, was not surprised at all.

The house now displays, trophies on every wall.

And The Queen came to call.
