The thud of his feet, striking the floor
Shook the light in the ceiling next door.
It was normal for The Boy to jump
But he was quite a heavy lump,
As he jumped, from bed to floor.
His mother begged, at his bedroom door,
‘Please stop, the house can’t take anymore!”
Cracks appeared on the ceiling below,
All the damage was starting to show,
Then the house began to shake,
As though in an earthquake;
All around him was dust, and rubble,
The Boy was in terrible trouble.
His house was in ruins, had to be pulled down,
The Boy’s family soon after that, left town.
