The Boy Who Wouldn’t Share

He took away playthings from his brother.

He wouldn’t share his toys with another.

“Sharing is caring.” scolded his mother.

But he still hid his things, from all others.

Everyone tired of his selfish nature.

He even took away his grandpa’s denture.

He swallowed medicine meant for his sister

Was even envious of his brother’s blister.

He believed that everything, was his.

His greed, sent his mother into a tis.

Poor woman did not know what to do.

She even threatened, to whack him with a shoe.

Suddenly scared, of his mother’s fury

He rang the police, for help and safety.

Policeman Plod, knocked on the door;

The Boy had no idea, what was in store.

“I can take you away, from all of this,

But I don’t think anywhere, you will find such bliss.”

The Boy agreed, his family overheard

That from now on, caring and sharing will be his byword.

After that, the boy shared his toys,

Was kind to all, girls and boys.
