Bursting doors on England’s shores, are
opening for all.
For waves of desperate people are coming to
her shores.
With love and compassion England’s doors
are open wide.
As in her history, few have been denied.
The spirit of old England inspired them to
come.
The children of the world are there seeking
sanctuary.
There is another open door, for those of
English bent,
To leave and carry that sacred spirit and
scatter it abroad.
So many of her children are scattered to the
winds;
But the spirit of mother England lives on for
all eternity.
