The Boy Who Wouldn’t Sit Still.

Like a spring, he sprang into action.

Not quite deciding in which direction.

leaving his legs, in a terrible tangle

As he falls, hitting his head, on the wooden floor;

Reaching for the handle of the door.

A lump on his head grew, as big as an egg,

He thought he must walk, not run now, instead.

But then he had a great idea,

To wear a crash helmet, all year.

Even in bed, you’d see it on his head;

But this to a serious problem led.

As he grew, the helmet squeezed

Really hurt, when he sneezed.

His granny was shocked, at his strange shaped

head.

To the kitchen for a can opener, she sped.

She cut him free, to his delight,

Now sits still; he’s seen the light.
