The Moon

Give me room to touch the moon.
A tranquillity, a peace that is profound;
To experience in depth the here and now;
And far beyond the limits of what we know.
Give me space to unfurl my wings and fly;
The freedom of spirit to explore
The depths of the self still unknown,
Fan like unfold, another dimension untold.
Give me a clear uncluttered place,
Free from crude messages from machines and
computers
Away from harsh voices, absurd rules and
regulations,
Petty bureaucratic mazes, that stifle strangle and
constrain.
Give me time, to find what I must;
Although the quest seems so obscure.
To discover a new world, not here;
Returning with gifts, unimaginable.
